Matritva: A Mobile App for Pregnant Women's Health and Immunizations

Matritva is a mobile app developed by the National Informatics Centre that aims to assist pregnant women in managing their health and immunizations. The app allows Anganwadi workers to register pregnant women and provides them with regular communication and counseling regarding their immunizations and antenatal checkups.

One of the key features of Matritva is the online registration of pregnant women by Anganwadi workers. The app ensures that only registered women can access it through OTP-based login on their registered mobile numbers. This enables them to easily view their immunization and antenatal checkup schedules at any time with just a single click.

Registered women can also update their immunization, antenatal checkup, and child birth status details through the app. Matritva provides a dashboard for Anganwadi workers, supervisors, Woman & Child Development Project Officers (WCDPO), and District Project Officers (DPO) to monitor scheduled, active, and closed cases, as well as the sex ratio in their respective sectors.

Furthermore, Matritva includes a two-way instant messaging feature that allows registered women, Anganwadi workers, and supervisors to communicate with each other. The app also provides information, education, and communication (IEC) activities on schemes of the Women and Child Development Department.
